July 2025 Songwriters Showcase shares the original music of regional singer songwriter Megan Bee
Bee writes with an unquenchable wanderlust and a deep love for the land. Her music is a blend of distinctly homespun vocals, acoustic simplicity, yearning soulfulness, and winsome storytelling. She bases in the rolling hills of Athens, Ohio and draws influence from the collision of Appalachian folk and modern songwriting. Learn more at https://meganbeemusic.com/
The Showcase will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Otherwise held in the performance space at the Galena Center for the Arts. Refreshments will be available. This event is free and open to the public, donations are warmly appreciated and help support future programming.
