I love to play the piano and singing is my passion. Shekinah King is a Dodgeville, WI native. Growing up in church started her crazy love for music. Shekinah is on a mission to sing and spread the joy of music everywhere she can.

Join us for a bingo and a drag show as we celebrate the love of inclusivity that is Pride weekend in Galena. This event is for guests 21 years & older and includes six bingo rounds and prizes with the grand prize chance to win $100! Seating will be prioritized to advance ticket buyers of drag bingo, but the rest of the bar will remain open to the public as room allows (& we have the patio too!).

Last year’s event SOLD OUT, so we will probably have the place to ourselves!
The charge for bingo is $25 a person and includes:

Singing songs about life, love and the pursuit of beer.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest Lenny has been singing and making up songs his entire life. Since falling in love with the Driftless Area about 15 years ago he has been performing throughout the region both as a solo artist and with several bands. Lenny helped establish the Songwriters Showcase at the Galena Center for the Arts in 2014 and is continuing to host the monthly performances in their new theater.

Led by an experienced educator, join us Monday-Thursday, June 15-18 from 1-1:45 pm for interactive exploration of some of the best loved children’s books. Expect some singing, art projects and snack. Sign up for one or as many days as you want. A parent or adult guardian must remain at the Center for the full 45 minutes.

RTT is FREE to all and sponsored by a private donor.

Songwriter Showcase encourages the creation and sharing of original music by regional singer songwriters.

A favorite of the Broad Ideas Showcase each spring, Sarah Roodhouse blends music and storytelling into performances that are heartfelt and engaging. A seasoned songwriter and composer, she invites audiences to settle in and enjoy piano songs inspired by a drummer.

Joel Sires has built a following in listening rooms, theaters and clubs across the Midwest with a sound the oldheads call “folk” and the algorithm labels “Intimate Day Pop.” Blending touches of jazz, British Invasion and Laurel Canyon influences, his music feels both timeless and rooted

Dylan Harris is a singer-songwriter based in Southwest Wisconsin. His music is rooted in the sounds of Americana, rock, and country, blending heartfelt storytelling with a distinctly Midwestern spirit.

The DZ Combo is a jazz quartet based out of Dubuque, Iowa playing original jazz music written by pianist and composer, Danny Zanger.
