Barbara Mathews has been teaching at various locations for over 20 years. “My intent is to encourage and inspire you on your journey and enjoyment of watercolor painting. Learn to see the abstract shapes that create realistic subjects. In this class, paint what inspires and intrigues you. I encourage you the use your own references, but I will bring many reference drawings for you to use. I use a limited palette so you don’t need to purchase many different supplies. There will be plenty of demonstrations as well as studio painting time.”

Since falling in love with the Driftless Area about 15 years ago he has been performing throughout the region both as a solo artist and with several bands. Lenny helped establish the Songwriters Showcase at the Galena Center for the Arts in 2014 and is continuing to host the monthly performances in their new theater.
