Artist Bio: Christine Warner is a contemporary artist, working in Galena, Illinois. Born in the Midwest, Christine has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois-Urbana and a B.A. in Fine Arts from Columbia College-Chicago.

Her paintings of stylized figures explore themes of self-identity and authenticity. Using vivid complementary colors and thick, lush textures, her work has a visual energy that engages the viewer in their own internal dialogue. Playful art historical references are often present in her work.
