The Galena Center for the Arts, 971 Gear St. Galena will be hosting Connie Warnsing at its “Meet The Artist” event on Sunday, March 8 from 1-3pm.

Local art teacher, Warnsing graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in 2D Art, and minor in Art History.

Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with Connie and learn about her art, techniques, and sources of inspiration.

Her works will be included in the Center’s new Broad Ideas exhibit running through the month of March. Gallery hours are Thursday – Sunday 1-4pm.

This event is free to attend, donations are appreciated.
