Following a summer hiatus, Summit Street Singers will resume rehearsals on Tuesday, September 16. Regular rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. throughout the season.
We welcome new singers high school age and up.
The goal is to enjoy singing together. There is no audition process and singers do not have to be able to read music to join the group.
The ensemble is directed by Larry Cording with Kori Skidmore as accompanist and Melanie Hoffman assistant conductor.
The singers will perform at the Community Sing-Along in November at the Center for the Arts. Admission is free and the community is invited to attend.
To learn more about joining the Summit Street Singers, contact Carole Sullivan at 815-402-3111, email info@GalenaCenterfortheArts.com, or simply attend the first rehearsal on Tuesday, September 16.
