Raised in the Ocooch Mountains a.k.a. The Driftless Region of Southwestern Wisconsin, U.S.A., Andreas is a multi-instrumentalist and singer of original, traditional and folk music. Coming from Danish (Bornholmsk), Irish and Driftless cultural backgrounds, Andreas continues a family tradition of ballad singing, tunes playing, social dance calling, storytelling and spoons playing. He performs and teaches at pubs, festivals, concert halls, schools, summer camps, barn parties and every sort of event from wakes to weddings to funerals, and has lived and learned in communities across Ireland, England, Scandinavia and the United States.
