The Julien Chamber Choir, directed by Kristen Eby, will present their fall concert “Vices and Virtues” on Monday, November 14 at 7:30 pm. The 20-voice ensemble will perform works by Hassler, Chilcott, Lauridsen and Rutter.
Founded in 1999, the Julien Chamber Choir is made up of professional and amateur musicians from around the Tri-State area, and performs a wide variety of choral styles, including classical, folk and spirituals. In addition to their regular fall and spring concerts, Julien Chamber Choir has been guest performers for the Illinois Choral Director’s Association, Dubuque Songfest, and the Dubuque Arboretum Summer Concert Series.
The concert will be in the performance space in the Center for the Arts, 971 Gear Street. The space is handicap accessible and has plenty of parking.
A donation to the Julien Chamber Choir is requested, students free.
